Bound Together in Song brings together patrons, singers, and community leaders for a festive concert experience celebrating the power of choral music to unite and inspire.<\/p>\n<p>Guests will enjoy an elegant dinner and live choral performance featuring music centered on themes of fellowship, shared expression, and community. Designed as both a musical event and a gathering place, the evening offers an opportunity to experience the Chorale up close while investing directly in student singers and the future of vocal music in West Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the gala support scholarship initiatives for students at the Texas Tech University School of Music. Each year, the Lubbock Chorale contributes $16,000 toward vocal scholarships and continues to grow a permanent scholarship endowment that will sustain opportunities for singers for years to come. Following a record-setting year that raised more than $125,000, the gala remains one of the Chorale\u2019s most impactful and inspiring traditions.<\/p>\n<p>At its heart, Bound Together in Song is more than a performance\u2014it is a celebration of generosity, artistry, and the shared belief that music has the power to strengthen lives and communities.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-305\" src=\"https:\/\/lubbockchorale.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/season20264.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eternal Life \u2013 Featuring Elaine Hagenberg\u2019s <em>Aeterna Via<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>May 8, 2027 | Hemmle Recital Hall | 7:30 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Eternal Life<\/em> explores themes of hope, remembrance, and the enduring search for meaning through music that speaks to the human experience across time and culture. The centerpiece of the program is the premiere of <em>Aeterna Via<\/em> (\u201cThe Eternal Way\u201d), a new work by acclaimed composer Elaine Hagenberg.<\/p>\n<p>By presenting new music alongside timeless choral expression, this concert serves as the culmination of the season\u2019s journey \u2014 a space for reflection, renewal, and lasting resonance. The Chorale\u2019s subsequent performance of this program at Carnegie Hall extends this artistic vision beyond the South Plains, sharing the work with audiences on a national stage.
