Greetings from The Lubbock Chorale!
The Lubbock Chorale is a vibrant and vital civic choral organization that has
been bringing enriching and entertaining choral music to the cultural life of
the Lubbock community for nearly four decades. In addition to its integral
relationship with the Texas Tech University School of Music, the Lubbock
Chorale also regularly collaborates with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, area
churches, and various municipal and educational entities. As you will read in
our Vision and Mission Statements and goals, the Chorale is committed to
enhancing our quality of life and to furthering arts education in the South
Plains.
Sharing choral masterworks, presenting innovative programming, and celebrating a
wide variety of music are all fundamental aspects of the Lubbock Chorale's
activity in our community. Each season the Chorale provides numerous
scholarships for undergraduate and graduate music students. Week after week,
year after year, people of all ages come together to enjoy everything from Bach
and Beethoven to Broadway and Blues!
Come and join us!
If you would like to sing in the Lubbock Chorale, simply click on "Auditions" -
you can write, call, or email.
If you are not a singer, you can still be a part of the larger "choir" that is
our audience, our sustaining community. We need your support! Our ability to
carry on in the good and needed work begins and ends with our contributors.
Please click on "Support the Chorale."
Great things are happening in the Lubbock Chorale. We invite you to be a part of
it!
Sincerely yours,
John Hollins
