Auditions

The Lubbock Chorale looks for the best vocal talent from the South Plains area. We are a community-based ensemble of about 120 voices. People interested in singing with the Chorale should have some experience singing in choral ensembles, such as high school, college or church choirs. Singers should be able to read music and possess a voice that blends well with others.

Auditions are open two times a year; first in August and then again in January.

Membership dues are $110 per year, with some additional charges for music, on a per-concert basis, as needed. (The Lubbock Chorale will not exclude membership solely on the basis of financial hardship. Any extenuating, extraordinary, and documentable circumstances should be discussed with the Council President and/or the Business Manager.)
